Hi, I’m Gen.

I’m a coach, facilitator, senior executive and strategic advisor.

I’ve based my career in charities and social enterprises, and I coach and facilitate across sectors. I have been facilitating workshops for over 15 years, and coaching since 2021.

I bring a range of leadership and life experience, including from my time as CEO of a growing social enterprise, working as a strategy and impact consultant, relocating to a new country, and taking part in outdoor expeditions and a range of sports.

I have had amazing adventures, and I love working with individuals and teams to help them realise their goals.

I came to coaching in part through my background in facilitation - it seemed natural to translate what I’d learned and loved about working with groups into 1:1 sessions. But it’s also a reflection of the value I got from coaching as I went through a number of hard transitions - the COVID lockdown, a change of career, and a bereavement - in short succession. Coaching was a great support to me over this period, and I want to be able to hold this kind of space for others.

My approach is personalised, holistic, values-driven, and empowering.

I have completed a training programme accredited by the International Coaching Federation and am working towards the practice hours required for certification at ACC level.

I have a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and an MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation, both from the University of Oxford.

I am originally from Canada, but now live with my partner and pets in South London. I am queer and welcome clients who are LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, disabled / have a disability.

Let’s work together
